Lily walked along the backyard edge. She was young, cold, and hungry. Since she was a kitten, she didnt want to get into trouble with a dog. Her orange tabby fur was wet with dew. She curled up next to a bush, shivering. She looked up at the large house. It was tempting to walk in through the doggy door, but she knew it was wrong to intrude. She stood slowly, and paded over to the door to see if anyone was inside. She saw A dog and a human girl leaving, but did not see anyone else. Lily jumped into the house using the doggy door, and padded over silently to the food dishes. There were two of each dish. She sniffed the smaller food dish. It smelled like chicken. She took a quick bite, and knew immediatly that it was. She took a second bite, and padded quietly to the beds. There were two of each. Lily layed down in the smaller bed, and fell to sleep quickly, un-aware that she was sleeping in Alderage's bed.

Demi was as happy to get out side

Alderage woke up from his nap with Lexie's scent lingering on the couch. He padded sleepily over to his food dish, his stomach rumbling. All of a sudden, a scent overwhelmed him and he looked swiftly to his bed. A kitten was curled up on his bed and the kitten had eaten some of his food. Alderage pawed at the small body of the kitten softly.

Lily opened her eyes to Alderage pawing her side. She jumped up quickly, not sure if the cat was friendly or not. "I-Im sorry... I didn't think anyone else was here..." She mewed softly. She backed up a little, prepared for an attack.

Alderage stared at the newfound kitten. He growled slightly, only to see that the kitten looked scared half to death and very skinny. He caught the scent of her fear. "Where is your owner?" Alderage asked, who already knew the answer.

"I-I don't have an owner.." Lily mewed softly. She was shivering badly, and was still hungry. "I-Im sorry to intrude.. I should leave.." She said with a slight saddness to her voice.

( I've been out of town for three days. sorry :/ )
"You should at least stay for a while. No owner? My owner works in the Pet Store! we could find you one nearby. Here," Alderage said, while pushing the food bowl to her, "Eat."

(Oh! its okay, sorry!)

Lily looked up at Alderage, then back over to the food dish. "T-thank you.." She said quickly, and she walked to the dish, and took a bite. Once she had gotten full, she sat back down, and looked at Alderage. "What can I do now?" She asked quietly.

"You can sleep in Demi's bed. She won't mind," Alderage curled up in his own bed and then let out a sigh. He found it nice to have someone there.

"Thanks." Lily said, as she curled up in the larger bed.

Demi sighed and bursted out the dog door and jumped the fence and ran to the farmland. being a wolf at heart she was larger and taller than most females.
